Bitterroot GJ Al Cappucino, affectionally known as Al, is a wonderful addition to our breeding program. In my search for outside genetics from Krebs Farm, I stumbled across Bitterroot Dairy Goats and was instantly excited to see Agape’s Prize sired kids getting ready to be born. Initially I was hoping to get a doeling out of Harper but upon her having three bucklings I decided to take a chance on a first-freshener doe to be the dam of my future herdsire. While I will not see the results of Al’s genetics for a couple years, I have a lot of faith in his star-studded pedigree.

So far Al has shown his ability to greatly improve conformation on the doe I retained his daughter, Golden Shepherd Turmeric, out of. We will hopefully be seeing udder improvements as well in fall 2026 when Turmeric is bred.
